HOUSTON (NEWS10) -- NASA is taking the next major step to eventually put people back on the moon. Four astronauts have been selected to man the upcoming Artemis II mission. GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A local animal shelter received a record breaking donation on Monday. Capitaland Subaru presented the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville a $68,000 donation.The money was raised during Subaru's "Share the Love" event. Officials at LAC+USC Medical Center are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who has been hospitalized for more than two weeks.The woman is believed to be between 55 and 60 years old and arrived at the hospital on March 20 after she was found unresponsive on the sidewalk.She's described by hospital staff as a Black woman, with coarse, shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She's about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 242 pounds with a heavy build, officials said, and she has no other "identifiable markers."Hospital workers in Los Angeles are hoping to identify this woman hospitalized since March 20, 2023. A second suspect has been identified in connection with a shootout Saturday at a busy West Hills shopping center that left one person dead, and three others injured, authorities announced Monday. The shooting happened around 3:45 p.m., with police responding to the scene on reports of gunfire exchanged involving multiple people at a shopping plaza near Fallbrook Avenue and Vanowen Street. A 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 35-year-old woman, a 35-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were hospitalized in serious or critical condition, LAPD said. 80-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Side-Swipe Collision near Highway 174NEVADA COUNTY, CA (April 3, 2023) – Monday afternoon, Gerald Nelson was arrested after a fatal DUI accident on Brunswick Road.Officers responded to the scene shortly after 3:00 p.m., near Highway 174 on March 27th.Per reports, Nelson was heading west in a 1994 Dodge pickup-truck. Meanwhile, an 80-year-old woman was driving a 2006 Mercedes in the oncoming lane.For DUI related reasons, Nelson failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the oncoming lanes. As a result, Nelson struck the side of the Mercedes and crashed into a pole and street sign.Medics arrived and pronounced the female Mercedes driver dead at the scene.
