CHICAGO — One of Chicago's most iconic scenic restaurants has abruptly closed. CHICAGO — Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul filed an amended lawsuit Thursday against Trump Tower — alleging the property is continuing to break environmental laws by "significantly underreporting" the average daily volume of water it discharges into the Chicago River.His office initially filed a lawsuit against Trump Tower in 2018 following violations of Illinois environmental laws. At the time, Raoul stated the property was using water from the Chicago River to cool its air-conditioning systems without a valid permit. Trump Tower still uses the system that is capable of pulling in more than 20 million gallons of river water a day before returning the water at a warmer temperature, according to Raoul. KNOX, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Joe’s Township Tavern, located at 1412 Township Road in Knox, is permanently closing. The announcement was made in a Facebook post on September 18. On September 2, 2022 at 12 a.m., police responded to the area of Manning Boulevard and Lark Drive following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of gunfire and a 23-year-old woman who had sustained a gunshot wound to her back. The victim was tended to by emergency medical personnel on the scene before being transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
